It's in vital interests of Russia, the West and the rest of the world to cooperate in fighting terrorism, says CIS-EMO political analyst Stanislav Byshok to RT Arabic. One of the reasons impeding the collaboration is the very nature of international terrorism, which is by definition stateless, leaderless, devoid of a particular territory, borders, capital city, etc. It's easier to fight a country, even a big one, than an ideologically driven network.
