A presentation of a book investigating the bloody events in Kiev that started in February  and resulted in an armed power shift in Ukraine took place in Belgium today. The Odessa massacre

On May 2 2014, the southern seaport of Odessa, the Pearl of the Black Sea and the humor capital, saw clashes between Ukraine federalization supporters on one hand, and the neo-Nazi Right Sector, Euromaidan activists and football fans on the other. CIS-EMO says by-elections should be rescheduled due to political situation in Ukraine

The CIS-EMO International Election Monitoring Organization has said that the by-elections to the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, in at least two constituencies – No. 223 in Kyiv and No. 94 in Obukhiv (Kyiv region) – should be rescheduled in connection with the current political situation in Ukraine, CIS-EMO Head Alexander Bedritsky said at a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine on December 11. Kiev faces ´mountain of problems´ on electoral law ahead of EU/Ukraine summit

Mr Kochetkov, a frequent participant in conferences in the European Parliament, said, "One of the points of Mr Fule’s document clearly and unambiguously requires the Ukrainian authorities to remedy the deficiencies of the parliamentary elections, including those connected with the failure to calculate the election results in five single-mandate constituencies.”
